The single seat automotive robot is, in essence, a high capability robotic assistant. Its modular design is centered around an advanced simulator cockpit, encased within a modal robot. The goal is to place the physical and digital world at the operator’s fingertips. It is a combination of the ultimate luxury seat and the ultimate ATV. A high-end wheeled mech robot, able to completely isolate its operator from the virtual world or give him unlimited access, to see all and not be seen, hear and not be heard.
While its design uses basic geometry for simplicity in manufacturing, its philosophy and function is what separates it from what I have observed in the current automotive and recreation products, at least to my liking. It is in its 3D model stage. The modular design allows its distinct sections to be engineered alongside emerging technology without compromising the general concept. It is engineered to constantly develop. Each module is future proof.
Greenhouse and fairings withstanding, all parts are intended to be readily accessible worldwide. It is a study in complex simplicity. Future concepts will include aerial and submersible capabilities into one design. Development through stages will include images, documentation and an open forum.
This is a build that will require studying, observation, consultation and finance. It won’t build itself, so let’s begin…
